Method of recovery
Verify. File. Recover.
Three phases, and a hard rule between the first and the second: nothing is filed until entitlement is established. Most claims that fail in this field failed at that boundary, not at the counter.
We confirm that the asset exists, that it is recoverable, and that you are the person entitled to it. Nothing is filed and no fee arises until this is settled.
We assemble the entitlement file and file it. Every claim passes an advocate’s verification before it leaves us, and every statutory filing is made under a limited authority you sign.
We carry the claim through company, registrar or authority verification to credit, and correct discrepancies as they arise. Our fee is deducted only from what is actually recovered.
Two routes
Determined at verificationEvery matter resolves into one of two routes at the outset, and which one it is changes the evidence, the timeline and the cost. We settle that question first, and tell you which route you are on before you commit to anything.
Part A: the holder is living
The shorter route. Entitlement is not in question; the work is establishing the holding, correcting the record, and filing cleanly.
Identification
The folio, the issuer and the holding are established from company, registrar and authority records.
Record correction
Address, bank mandate, KYC and signature mismatches are corrected before filing, because they are the commonest cause of rejection.
Entitlement letter
The company or its registrar issues the entitlement letter that the claim form requires at the filing stage.
Filing and dispatch
The claim is filed, the SRN recorded, and the original documents dispatched to the nodal officer against acknowledgement.
Verification and credit
The company files its verification report; on acceptance, shares are credited to your demat account and money to your bank account.
Part B: the holder has died
The longer route, and the one where most claims fail. Entitlement has to be constructed and proved before anything is filed.
Succession mapping
The full line of heirs is established, including those the family did not mention, because an incomplete heir list is fatal later.
Route determination
Whether the matter runs on nominee, simplified documentation or a court instrument is settled before any cost is incurred.
Evidence assembly
Death certificate, heirship evidence, no-objections, indemnity and the claimant KYC set are assembled as one file.
Advocate verification
The file passes a documented verification register maintained by an advocate. A file that does not clear it is not filed.
Filing and prosecution
The claim is filed and carried through verification, with discrepancies corrected as they are raised.
After filing
Once a claim is submitted, the timeline stops being ours. It belongs to the company or registrar conducting verification, to the authority processing the claim, and where a court instrument is needed, to the court. We report what has moved and what has not, and we chase the stages that can be chased.
Where a discrepancy is raised, we correct it with the company or registrar and re-file. Where a claim is refused on a ground we think is wrong, we tell you what the options are and what each one would cost before anything further is spent.
Recovered shares are credited to your demat account and recovered money to your bank account. Our fee is settled after that, from what was actually recovered.
